I'm a sucker for nostalgia and often daydream about my childhood in the 90's. It was a simpler time without the whole world in the palm of our hands by way of smartphones. What was more likely in the palms of our hands were grazes from climbing trees, bike handles as we sped down hills, and penny sweets from the corner shop that we'd bought using the change leftover from the mini shop our parents made us do.
Penny sweets were my favourite way to spend those few coins which inspired this nostalgic concoction of refreshing lime is blended with a touch of verbena for an extra citrus hit.
